Synchronize your Computer clock with an Internet time server

If your computer is not part of a domain, you can synchronize your computer's clock time with an internet time server. To do this double-click the time on your task bar. Click the internet time tab. Check the Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server box.
But make sure that you set the correct date before you attempt this. If you have firewall on then you will have to modify it to allow automatic synchronization. Then whenever you turn on your computer, your time will be set according to the server provided your internet connection is on.
